The Musician on the Roof Top

This is a story about four friends in India. They were having good time and were on foot, they were talking to each other when suddenly they heard a music coming from a building near them. They all looked at the direction that the music was coming from and they saw a man playing violin on the rooftop all by himself. He was wearing a small Hat which was covering his face and he was playing guitar too loud at late night.


 They all shouted at him saying that it was too late to play music! Go to sleep. But the man kept playing and playing. His head was down and he was looking like lost in his own thoughts. Suddenly they all shouted slurs at him because the man was obviously ignoring their request.

 The man was on the rooftop of an old building which was 2 or 3 story long. The man was silent with his guitar still making the sound that was looking very strange to the four young boys. The boys then tried to make him listen by throwing small pebbles at his direction. The man noticed this and stopped the guitar and there was silence in the air for the moment. The four friends thought that they angered the man on the rooftop but they thought to themselves what could the guy on the rooftop do? He can’t walk all the way down and grab or harm them so mission accomplished. Or so they thought the mission was accomplished. They looked at each other and their eyes were saying that they should left the scene but suddenly when they were standing still at that location the man shouted “ Wait and I will get you four for this”.

 They all laughed as how can the man get them from the 3 floor? They were laughing at him and they were watching the man who was still on rooftop. The man then reached out for them from the rooftop and his hand stretched so long than they thought that it was near them! They all got scared and run for their lives! They ran and ran till they reached one friend’s house nearby.

 The friend asked them why and what they were running from? They all after a couple of minutes told him the whole story of what happened with them and how they got attacked by the man on the third floor! The friend asked them which building they were talking about. They told him the location of the building.

 The friend told them that it was impossible that they saw anyone there! They all asked why? Their friend told them that the building was empty and it was abandoned a long time ago! They all looked at each other and promised never to wonder in the nights as the other creatures rise when the people sleep!
